Vandal cuts blue spruce on golf course, presumably to serve as his Christmas tree

It appeared someone had eyes on putting a nine-foot-tall blue spruce in his living room to serve as his Christmas tree. The tree was cut in broad daylight with a chain saw between the second fairway and seventh tee at the Prescott Golf Club, south of Ottawa, between Dec. 5 and 6. The culprit dragged the tree across the course toward a nearby road before stashing it, presumably for a later pick-up.
