Act triggers disappointment, anger
October 22, 2021 By Northeast Now

The superintendent at Saskatchewan’s Wynyard Golf Course said he was shocked to find a memorial tree cut down in the middle of the ninth fairway. The act of vandalism occurred either Oct. 15 or 16. Dale Johnston said feedback from the golf community is one of disappointment and anger. The tree was planted on the course more than 13 years ago to honour the life of a longtime club member. Plans are to replace the tree.
