Southeastern Manitoba golf courses reporting ideal conditions for season openings

New eighth green at La Broquerie won't open until 2025

April 25, 2024  By Turf & Rec

Golf courses in southeastern Manitoba have opened for the season with ideal conditions for late April.

Quarry Oaks Golf Course has reported some soft spots on cart paths due to frost, but note course conditions are otherwise good.

La Broquerie Golf Course has a new eighth green, but it won’t open for play until next season to allow it to mature. Plans this year also include building or renovating several tee decks.

The Steinbach Fly-In Golf Course opened for play in two stages – to members first and to the public second – and is pleased with the conditions of its greens.
