Snow contractors in Edmonton biding their time as they await the arrival of ‘winter’

Edmonton’s snow contractors are dealing with the winter season’s lack of snow in various ways. The owner of Little Creek Landscaping told CTV News that his staff has been reduced to three people from what would normally be seven for this time of year. The Lawnmower Hospital, meanwhile, has offered incentives to customers to purchase spring equipment now. Some residential snow customers say they don’t mind paying for a snow-clearing contract, noting it’s no different than paying for homeowner’s or car insurance.
