Pollinator populations will notably increase if enough people adapt to local bylaw

Although a new Chatham-Kent, Ont. bylaw allows portions of residential properties to become naturalized, the maintenance involved needs to be understood first, one resident says. Steve Rankin, past president of Tallgrass Ontario, said if even 100 people in the municipality allows portions of their yards to become naturalized, it will significantly increase the populations of pollinating insects.
