Calgary sports park – home to McMahon Stadium – to undergo remodeling

Calgary’s Foothills Athletic Park, which houses McMahon Stadium, is being remodeled. New turf fields are part of the plans for upgrades. The park currently features a number of recreational facilities, including a ball diamond, soccer fields and McMahon Stadium itself – the home of the CFL’s Stampeders. The company leading the project is hoping to keep the existing facilities on-site, but may turn the ball diamond into a multi-purpose space.
