Oshawa golf course stands to lose thousands each week course stays closed

The owner of the Oshawa Airport Golf Club says he was “stunned” by the Ontario government’s short notice for shutting down golf courses across the province. The club had been booked solid for play last weekend, but was forced to cancel tee times at the last minute. He added the club is poised to lose thousands of dollars each week the golf course remains closed during Ontario’s extended stay-at-home order.
