Residence taken up in former clubhouse
October 22, 2021 By Simcoe Reformer
The occupation of the closed Arrowdale Golf Course in Brantford is headed into its third week, with the small group of occupants taking up residence in the former clubhouse. The group’s leader, Trevor Bomberry, of the Six Nations of the Grand River, wants the city to abandon its plans for the property, which is to sell 32 acres of the property to a developer and convert the remainder into parkland. Mayor Kevin Davis said a number of options are being considered to resolve the occupancy issue.
