June 3, 2021 By ScoreGolf

First, it was the RBC Canadian Open, and now it’s the CP Women’s Open that has been cancelled as a result of ongoing border restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The LPGA Tour event was to have been played at Vancouver’s Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club Aug. 23-29. It marks the second consecutive year the tournament has been cancelled. The Ottawa Hunt Club is slated to host the 2022 CP Women’s Open while Shaughnessy will have another chance in 2023.
