Turf at Surrey, B.C. athletic park to undergo upgrades as part of $1.4M project

The turf area at South Surrey, B.C. Athletic Park is to be graded and shaped with new sod following city council approvals for upgrades to the facility. Work on the $1.4-million project is to begin this month with a September completed date expected. Other improvements include a new rubberized track, a new hammer/discus cage, and reconstruction of the high jump and track runways.
