Newfoundland and Labrador’s oldest golf course, which dates back more than a century, is at the centre of a landmark deal that would see the club relocate to a neighbouring facility in St. John’s. Bally Haly Country Club’s current site features several fairways that run parallel to one another with property adjacent to private homes. It has created a safety concern with errant balls hitting homes and other golfers.
