Golf off to fast start at Newfoundland & Labrador course in spite of pandemic
Occasional bad weather can't keep golfers away

Golf season in Newfoundland & Labrador is off to a fast start so far this spring and, even on not-so-nice days, golfer are still coming out to play in large numbers. The Willows in Holyrood was the first golf course in the province to open last year, enjoying its best season ever amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Humber Valley Resort Golf Club in Little Rapids, located on Newfoundland’s west coast, is aiming for a May opening, and is hopeful for a second consecutive banner season.
