Motion from Halton Region chairman calls on province to protect Glen Abbey GC

A motion drafted by Halton Region chairman Gary Carr is appealing to the Ontario government to stop potential development from occurring at Oakville’s Glen Abbey Golf Club. ClubLink, owner of the Glen Abbey property, has proposed to develop a community of more than 3,200 residential units and 127,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. Carr says Glen Abbey should be protected as a regional, provincial and national treasure for future generations.
