GolfNorth has opened some of its Ontario golf courses for play, taking advantage of spring’s early arrival.

Tee sheets have been full this week at Brookfield and Conestoga golf courses in the Kitchener area. Other area courses, including Foxwood and RiverEdge have also opened for play as well as 10 other courses in Ontario.

A GolfNorth official says this marks the earliest season openings he’s experienced in 30 years.

Conestoga entertained 236 golfers on Wednesday while Brookfield saw 198 play.
