Halifax forum will address emerging health and safety workplace issues

Registration now open for Sept. 26-27 event

Emerging health and safety issues in the workplace will be addressed by experts in September at CCOHS Forum 2023 in Halifax.

The forum, put on by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, will be held Sept. 26-27.

Scheduled speakers include:

• Linda Nazareth, economist and futurist, who will talk about how demographic, workplace, and economic trends will shape the future of work.

• Dr. Julian Barling, author and Border Chair of Leadership, who will outline seven factors necessary for healthy, safe and productive work.

• Dani Gomez-Ortega, a diversity and inclusion champion, who will teach steps employers can take to create a more supportive and inclusive workplace for trans and non-binary employees.

The theme of the forum is The Changing World of Work.
