From ball diamond to dog park and back to ball diamond again…and then dog park

A baseball diamond in the Sauble Beach area of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Ont. was shelved for play during the pandemic while health restrictions were in place. Instead, the Bannister Park baseball diamond became a temporary dog park. Now that restrictions have loosened, however, the area is opening up once again for baseball and softball. Until a permanent dog park can be established, the ball diamond will go back to the dogs temporarily at the conclusion of the current baseball season.
