Field upgrades, new track coming to Delta, B.C. high school with help from province

Advanced drainage and irrigation systems are among the improvements slated for the natural turf playing field at Delta Secondary School in Delta, B.C.

In collaboration with the provincial government and the Delta School District, the project will also see the surrounding track replaced with a synthetic surface.

Work on the project is to begin this week and is expected to be completed by November.

The B.C. Growing Communities Fund has earmarked $5 million toward the project.
