‘Burnouts’ on Huntsville, Ont. soccer field result in $50,000 in turf damages

A pair of teenagers have been charged with mischief after a soccer field in Huntsville, Ont. was extensively damaged on Monday.
Police reported two vehicles did “burnouts” on the field, causing about $50,000 in damages.
The suspects – an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old – were apprehended shortly after the incident was reported at 11:30 p.m.
Additional charges related to vehicle theft and driving without a licence were issued to the younger of the suspects.
