Thieves cut up artificial turf cricket field in Oak Bay, B.C., stealing several sections

About $4,000 in damages were realized at an Oak Bay, B.C. cricket pitch after several sections of its artificial turf playing surface were cut and removed on the weekend.
No suspects have yet to be apprehended.
The act of vandalism and theft was reported by a local resident.
The incident was one of several thefts reported to police on the weekend.
