Alberta snow contractor hires teens to earn money and learn value of hard work

The owner of a Beaumont, Alta. snow removal business is hiring local teenagers to shovel snow for others in their neighbourhoods, giving the youth a chance to earn money and learn the value of hard work. Frost Bite Snow Removal has hired between 20 and 30 young workers and has rewarded its “shoveller of the month” with a cash bonus. The business also has a $1,000 scholarship it awards annually, which has proven to be an incentive for youngsters to return each year.
