1.8 million ocean-sourced plastic bottles used to create football field

Materials to be used for artificial field's infill

The Adidas company has constructed an artificial football field for a Miami high school using 1.8 million recycled plastic bottles. The materials were sourced from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines and will be used for the field’s infill.
