Snow buildup, unsafe field conditions force relocation of football championship game
Niagara's championship final played in Hamilton after St. Catharines field was deemed unsafe

The Niagara Region high school senior football championship game was forced to move to a field outside the area on Thursday as a buildup of snow atop Kiwanis Field in St. Catharines could not be removed in time for the opening kickoff. Officials decided the artificial turf field conditions were unsafe and the game was moved to Hamilton.
