A popular Windsor, Ont. park has reopened following a series of upgrades which kept the facility closed for some time.
St. Clair Shores Park has reopened, featuring solar-powered bollards lighting up a new asphalt walking trail. Other improvements include a new basketball court, a freshly painted playground structure and a new pavilion.
The project cost $386,643.26.
New grass berms, an open play area and greater accessibility round out the improvements.

The park has been designed to accommodate a dry pond which would allow stormwater to be temporarily stored to reduce the risk of flooding.
