Still no fines levied against rogue Tillsonburg golf course that remains open

Local MOH says golfers can still socialize in parking lots

While golfers continue to play at The Bridges at Tillsonburg – in spite of the Ontario lockdown of golf courses – police or bylaw officers have yet to issue any fines. Tee times continue to be booked at the southern Ontario golf course that opened for play on Saturday in defiance of the province’s extended stay-at-home order, which shut down golf province-wide. “Inevitably, you are going to be socializing at moments when you cross with other players and in the parking lot,” Southwestern Public Health Medical Officer of Health Dr. Joyce Lock told 104.7 Heart FM.
