Dealing with COVID (Again)
Peel Region MOH warns against reopening outdoor facilities, including golf courses
Reversing decision would result in mixed messages, Dr. Loh says
The medical officer of health for Ontario’s Peel Region – one of the province’s COVID-19 “hot spots” – said he wouldn’t recommend reopening outdoor recreational facilities, including golf courses, during the third wave of the pandemic. Dr. Lawrence Loh said reopening such facilities while also telling people to stay at home would result in mixed messages. “I think a reversal at least at this point in the third wave is…a little challenged by our current situation,” he told CP24.
