The co-chairman of the fundraising team behind the second phase of Port Elgin, Ont.’s Lamont Sports Park project believes everything is on pace to achieve the team’s $1-million goal. The $9.8-million project’s first phase includes four baseball diamonds situated in a cloverleaf-type cluster that has been constructed atop a former gravel pit.
