Town will comply with provincial recommendation
April 7, 2022 By Turf & Rec

A citizens group in Shediac, N.B. are pushing for a bylaw that would outlaw cosmetic pesticide products. Current provincial regulations state that landscaping companies must have a pesticide operating licence and that a maximum of 50 per cent of a property can be targeted in a given year. The town’s mayor said the municipality will comply with whatever recommendation is made by the province’s climate change and environmental stewardship committee.
