RBC Canadian Open canceled again
COVID-19 travel protocols the main obstacle
March 10, 2021 By Global News

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken its toll on the RBC Canadian Open for a second straight year. Golf Canada has announced the cancellation of the PGA Tour event that was to have been played in June at St. George’s Golf & Country Club in Toronto. The main factor prompting the tournament’s cancellation is the restrictive travel policy that is still in place which requires a mandatory 14-day quarantine for those coming to Canada from the United States.
