Player safety on natural and synthetic surfaces discussed on Ross Tucker’s NFL podcast

The safety of National Football League playing surfaces has generated another round of discussion with NFL executive vice-president of communications Jeff Miller addressing the subject on the Ross Tucker Podcast. Miller said the league has spent a lot of money studying the different types of playing surfaces, but added improvements need to be made to both natural and synthetic surfaces.
