Professional Tour golfers are weighing in on the Ontario government’s decision to shutter the province’s golf courses, saying the game can be enjoyed safely and responsibly during the health crisis. Mackenzie Hughes, a member of the PGA Tour, and Brooke Henderson, a recent winner on the LPGA Tour, say golf is a safe way to have fun and get exercise. Ontario is reportedly the only jurisdiction in the world, where golf is ordinarily played, that has shut the game down.
