It is believed branches are intended for Christmas decorations
November 24, 2020 By CBC News
People in Moncton are helping themselves to pine branches they are cutting from live trees at two city parks. “It’s theft, it’s destruction of property, it’s not your property you shouldn’t take it home so that’s the first thing,” Dan Hicks, director of parks and leisure operations for the city, said. It is suspected the branches are being used in the making of Christmas decorations.
