Moncton to cut about 50 ash trees and treat another 450 for ash borer

Emerald ash borer was detected in city last summer

About 50 of Moncton’s ash trees have been deemed to be in poor condition and will be taken down while another 450 are said to be in reasonable shape and will be treated to slow the spread of the emerald ash borer.
