St. John’s councillor wants city parks re-opened to the public

Without parks, finding places for safe distancing is difficult, he says

A St. John’s city councillor is pressing to have restrictions loosened in municipal parks to allow for walking, jogging and cycling. Coun. Ian Froude says modifying current restrictions gives people other options to maintain safe distancing without having to resort to congested sidewalks and city streets.
