Sept. 19, 2019 – Canada geese – the scourge of parks, golf courses and green spaces – are being relocated from Mississauga and Oakville to a bird sanctuary in Windsor-Essex. Parks officials from both municipalities say they are seeing much less excrement and damage to their turf areas since the recent relocation of about 1,000 geese.
