Vernon riled over out-of-control geese droppings

March 27, 2019 – Parks, playing fields and beaches in Vernon, B.C. are becoming overrun with goose droppings to the point where one local councillor has called the area “Planet of the Geese.” The city is considering a strategy that would allow off-leash dogs to encourage the fowl to nest elsewhere.
