Atlantic Canadian officials plan for inevitable arrival of emerald ash borer

As the invasive emerald ash borer continues its eastward journey, Atlantic Canadian officials are drawing up plans to deal with the pest before its pending arrival. About 11 per cent of Fredericton, N.B.’s street trees are ash, numbering about 2,400.
