Traps set in Fredericton to detect arrival of ash borer

Traps such as this one will hang in the Grand Lake and Washademoak Lake areas to detect the arrival of the emerald ash borer.

June 20, 2018 – Early detection traps for the emerald ash borer are being set up in the Fredericton area to alert officials of the arrival of the invasive pest. The city, however, is still pondering what to do once the pest makes its expected arrival.
