Ash borer lands in Nova Scotia, no plan yet to fight it

Sept. 25, 2018 – The emerald ash borer’s eastward movement has found its way into Nova Scotia. The presence of the invasive pest was confirmed last week in Bedford. The province still has no regulations in place to deal with the pest insect, and it’s expected the borer will survive the coming winter.
