Newly installed artificial turf field in Delta, B.C. opens three weeks ahead of schedule

The replacement of the synthetic turf field at North Delta Community Park in Delta, B.C. has been completed three weeks ahead of schedule.

The new playing surface features a shock pad underlay and filled lines. The field can be utilized for both full-size and mini soccer games, field lacrosse and field hockey and also includes two softball diamonds.

An additional new lighting system at the park allows for games to be played into the evening. The lights are designed not only for full illumination of night games, but for security as well.

The park provides year-round recreational opportunities.
