New sod laid at Amherst ball field to address safety issue with infield lip
Difference in height between grass and dirt more than 2.5 cm

The main baseball field at Amherst, N.S.’s Robb Centennial Complex is getting a facelift that addresses a safety issue. The lip between the grass outfield and dirt infield had reached the point where there was more than a 2.5-centimetre difference in height. The field has been leveled with new sod.
