New $800,000+ lighting system coming to North Bay baseball field

A new sports field lighting system for Veterans Field in North Bay – at a cost of $849,300 – has been approved by city council. The baseball diamond and soccer field will be equipped with an LED lighting system that can be remotely controlled. Other recent improvements to the field include an artificial turf infield, and the replacement of benches and bleachers.
