Health Canada knows what’s best, Manitoba lawn care professionals say

Lawn care companies in Manitoba are rejoicing in the province’s decision to reverse its ban on cosmetic pesticide use. They believe researchers from Health Canada should be the voices behind determining what products are safe to use and not the voices of politicians. An official from Lawn Boys said being able to use the Par 3 herbicide again for the first time since 2014 is both a cheaper and more effective option than previously government-approved alternatives.
