Hail storms aren’t uncommon in the Kamloops, B.C. area, but one that occurred on Monday left more than the usual amount of ice atop the Sun Peaks Golf Course.
The golf course weathered the storm and reopened Wednesday morning with no damage realized.
Large amounts of ice accumulated on greens, tees and fairways and left the village of Sun Peaks blanketed in a white cover.
Superintendent Keith Lyall shared a video of the storm’s impact on the golf course.
