‘Friends of Arrowdale’ hope to line golf course’s perimeter in Saturday protest

Group protesting Brantford's sale of property

March 24, 2021  By Brantford Expositor

Protesters against the sale of Brantford’s Arrowdale Golf Course are expected to be out in full force on Saturday between noon and 2 p.m. Friends of Arrowdale – the group organizing the protest – said they hope enough people will turn out to line the property’s perimeter. The group’s president said one of the issues concerning the city’s decision to sell the nine-hole municipal course was that the local First Nations wasn’t informed under the Grand River Notification Agreement.
