Brantford council gives its approval for the sale of Arrowdale Golf Course

Brantford City Council voted Monday night to sell the municipal nine-hole Arrowdale Golf Course. The city accepted a $14-million offer from Elite M.D. Developments for 32 acres of the property while the remaining 17 acres are earmarked for a new community park. Plans are to construct 845 affordable housing units on the property over the next 10 years.
