Crowsnest Pass Golf Club seeks municipal funding to help with its water costs

Without it, visitors fees could increase 23%

Crowsnest Pass Golf Club in Blairmore, Alta. is asking the municipality for funding to help offset water costs. The club is asking for $120,000, noting it has $100,000 budgeted for long-term expenditures aimed mainly at keeping the golf course operational during seasons of poor weather. Without municipal aid, the club says it would have to increase visitor fees by 23 per cent.
