Golf club seeks city compensation for use of toboggan hill

Oct. 9, 2019 – Orillia, Ont.’s Couchiching Golf & Country Club wants the city to fork over $12,000 to allow the public to use a popular hill on the course for winter tobogganing. The club has told the city it has permitted use of the hill at no charge for several years, but recent financial pressures have forced the club to seek compensation.
