Cordless 36 volt (18Vx2) trimmer latest addition to Makita line

Makita Canada has added the new DUR364LZ cordless trimmer to its line of outdoor power equipment.

It features quiet operation while cutting around public areas, hospitals, golf courses, rest homes and anywhere that noise is a concern. Its dual battery gauges gives the operator the state of charge at a glance and also features an electronic current limiter for overload protection.

The model features an electronic two-speed selector for ease of power change requirement. Other features include:


• Soft start feature for even more protection of the motor by reducing heavy torque startup

• Constant speed control for easily cutting in heavier conditions


• Brushless motor for longer motor life, less heat buildup, longer runtime and more work

• eXtreme Protection Technology for peace of mind while working in wet or dirty conditions

• Reverse switch for easy removal of grass clippings clogging the head
