Balfour Golf Club’s Larry Olson named Syngenta BCGSA superintendent of the year

Larry Olson, superintendent at the Balfour Golf Club near Nelson, B.C., has been named Syngenta superintendent of the year by the British Columbia Golf Superintendents Association.

BCGSA president Warren Blue said Olson has been an inspiration to his peers in the industry.

Olson will be presented with the award on Dec. 1 in Victoria.

Before he began work at the Balfour club, he had been superintendent at the Penticton Golf & Country Club from 2000 to 2017.
