Ash borer moving west in U.S., but so far not in Canada

The destructive emerald ash borer has killed hundreds of millions of trees in North America since its arrival on the continent in the early part of the current millennium. So far, the beetle hasn’t been discovered in Canada anywhere west of Ontario, but it has migrated westward in the United States, including Texas, Nebraska and Colorado.
